📌 2 December — Session 2 (11:30–13:00)
Baptiste Leroy (University of Mons) will speak in the session “How are EU projects boosting Food Safety in the transition of EU Food Systems towards bioeconomy and enhanced competitiveness?”
He will present Purple4Life’s work on upcycling agri-food by-products into safe, bio-based ingredients using purple bacteria, and discuss its contribution to food safety, sustainability and competitiveness in the EU bioeconomy.

Guillaume Bayon-Vicente (University of Mons) will join the “Youths in action for the future of Food Safety in the EU” session to present his poster as part of the Young Researchers pitches.
